I can't localize a customer notifications

Hi,

 

The thing is that when I'm going to Settings -> Notifications -> Order confirmation then there is no localize button.

So I checked directly in Translate & Adapt and there is nothing under "Notifications" section and just one item under "Shipping and delivery", but actually I can't edit it. I copied the "Packing slip template" html and changed the words to what I need, but it throws me the error "Key body cannot be customized for a market; it can only be translated.". 

 

How can I translate it?

Hi @Dmytro3 , looking at the store kk • t o w n I can see what you're saying. It looks like a bug we'll look into - but just checking, you only have Ukrainian on the store - to translate you need to add other languages. That could be a factor.

The thing is that I want to have just one language and no additional one. I autogenerated a Ukrainian one and started editing it through the Translate & Adapt app at places where it was wrong. It looks like the idea of the app is different and it's just easier to edit the locale file and email notifications in the code itself.

Yes Translate & Adapt is not for editing your base language content. It is only for translation and adapting content for markets, e.g. to write color in the USA and colour in the UK. Editing the notification code is the way to go for you.
