Launching a US-based store in Canada

We are contemplating opening a Canadian version of our women's handbag store (launched in the US in 2019).

Has anyone had experience with this type of expansion? Any major pitfalls or areas to be aware of. Is it easy to clone our store? We use Shopify Fulfillment Network, and have been told getting set up in an Ottawa fulfillment center would be pretty straight forward. And if you are a women's brand, how does the market compare in terms of sales between US and Canada?
