I'm having trouble figuring out how to set up Managed Markets. We want to collect taxes, duties, and brokerage fees from Canadian customers at checkout to avoid any surprises for them. However, we're unsure which shipping services to use to make this happen. It seems like there are a few options with DHL and UPS that can handle these fees upfront.
What if we want to partially cover the shipping cost? Can we create a custom shipping option, like "DHL Expedited," and charge a lower price instead of using the calculated rates Shopify provides?
At the end of the day, we want to ensure Canadain customers will not face any surprises when their package is delviered.

Enable Duties & Import Taxes in Shopify Markets
Use a Carrier That Supports DDP (Delivered Duty Paid)
If you want to partially cover shipping costs and avoid the default calculated rates, you can create a custom shipping rate in Shopify:
This setup allows you to charge a portion of the actual shipping cost while ensuring Canadian customers still benefit from prepaid duties and taxes.
Hope that helps! If you need extra help, just let me know asap.
Thanks,
Daisy.
