Global expansion, localizing content, and selling in multiple currencies and languages
Hi Folks,
I have two questions related to multi-region commerce.
1.
I understand that Shopify supports multiple domains to be setup and assigned each domain to a currency.
Can Subdirectories be used instead. such as www.mystore.com/us Vs www.mystore.com/au etc.
2.
The second part to this is a follow up to see if it is now possible to restrict crossed currency/ shipping locations
Meaning someone in the USA can't checkout in AUD and vice versa.
Thanks in Advance,
Mark
I found this from a few years back: https://www.shopify.com/blog/shopify-store-multiple-countries
Seems subdomain is the only option (yet to find something to state otherwise). Would love for subfolders to be an option (tends to be better for SEO).
