Global expansion, localizing content, and selling in multiple currencies and languages
Today I discovered that paypal is not available on our checkout page for customers using an Icelandic address. From what I've read paypal is available in Iceland, but it doesn't seem to be via our shopify integration (other countries do have the paypal option). I'm waiting to hear back from paypal about this, but in the meantime I was just wondering if anybody else has run into this issue, and possibly found a solution.

Additional update: we've decided to make a secondary international market for countries whose native currencies aren't supported by paypal, and assign USD as the currency for this market. A lot of our international customers prefer to pay via paypal, so we think the convenience of having that option will outweigh the convenience of shopping in their native currency.
Update: this seems to be an issue with currency conversion and the króna not being supported by paypal. I've tried creating a draft order, switching the currency to USD and sending an invoice to the customer in hopes that they'll be able to use paypal if it's in USD, but that doesn't really solve the problem for other Icelandic customers who will just see that paypal isn't an option. In my experience most people don't write in, they just leave.
