Paypal only for international transactions

Is there a way to set my store to only allow paypal as the payment method for international transactions? I've had issues in the past with chargebacks for international orders that were clearly delivered and have lost the dispute. Would really love the option of having paypal as the only method, as it seems to be more seller backed with the fraudulent charges. I would like to keep all other payment methods available for domestic orders. Any help would be appreciated!

Welcome to the Shopify Community!

This question comes up quite a bit! It would not be possible to display a selected payment provider such as PayPal at the checkout only for international buyers, as our settings would display all the payment options enabled in your settings. The customizable checkout is only available for Shopify Plus Plans.

That being said, I will submit this to our internal team to be reviewed as a possible future feature of the platform. As our platform is constantly growing and improving, our team love to get feedback from our merchants on what features/edits they need to improve their workflow. So once I submit this as a feature request on your behalf, our team can review the request. So hopefully, this can be something that is available in the future.
