Question about new feature: Automatic localization to be expanded to markets that use primary domain

but I also have some problem:

1)1. When I use this feature, will non-primary market custmoers who enter the website example.com see a GEOIP prompt?

2) 2. Is this feature good or bad for international SEO?

3) will previous subfolder domains become 404?

No, they will not. They will be automatically redirected to their local experience.

Is this feature good or bad for international SEO?

We have developed this with SEO in mind, and have consulted with SEO experts on this change. We exclude all crawlers from this automatic redirection, so SEO is unaffected.

will previous subfolder domains become 404?

You can use this in conjunction with any subfolders or international domains that you already have. There will only be 404s if you remove those subfolders/domains from your international markets.
