Selling from Australia to the USA, Canada, UK and Europe

Hi guys,

We've just started our first online store and had a few questions regarding selling overseas, particularly:

• How do we sell into the USA, Canada, UK and Europe? 
• Do we have to collect taxes? Limits?
• Do we need to register with the local tax/customs?
• Are there any links that can help with each of those countries?
• Any recommended shipping methods and shipping estimation?

Background (maybe useful?):

Our products are electronics development boards and are made in Australia. We think a typical order might be AUD200-300 + shipping.

To sell in the USA, Canada, UK, and Europe from Australia, you need to check out the carriers that will align with your shipping needs. You can take a trial with UPS, FedEx, and DHL. 

Also, if you require shipping conditions (flat rate or free shipping) based on product weight, price, and category, you can check out shipping solutions like the PH MultiCarrier Shipping Label app.

For B2C business: 

EU and UK have thresholds of 150€ / 135£ respectively for duty free, simplified customs procedure and ability to collect VATs at checkout. Both require you to be registered, EU for IOSS and UK for UK VAT. We can handle your EU IOSS completely and act as the Intermediary. For UK there is not such Intermediary requirement for non-UK companies, and you can register yourself with HMRC. (You can find instructions in EAS help center). UK registration is completely stuck, it is going to be months. 

EU IOSS we can handle for you, in fact we can have you EU compliant in hours.
