Seperate payment gateway for a specific country

Hi everyone,

I run a Shopify US store which uses Shopify Payments, and have set 2 markets - USA and India. 

The payment methods available on Shopify Payments (namely Apple Pay, GooglePay, shop pay) are not available for India. So the customers are only limited to using Credit Cards (customers usually like paying with debit cards orUPI). 

Now I know that Shopify allows local payment gateways (like RazorPay, PayU etc) to Shopify stores based in India but they are not compatible with a US based store. 

So based on this information, my question is:

1) Is there a way for me to use PayU with my US based Shopify Store?

2) If not, then is creating an additional Shopify India store the only option?

3) Can the US store be arranged in such a way that the Indian Customer is diverted to the Indian Payment gateway (either through a subdomain or such)?
