Our busines is based in Germany. We want to launch a Shopify store to sell internationally.
Can we lauch a webstore in English only if we are located in Germany?

Are there any legal restrictions if webstore language in English and the business in located in Germany

Hi @eurotools,

Really good question! You can choose which language you'd like your theme to be in from the admin. It will default to the language from the country where you sign up and register from, but if you wanted to change it, you can take the following steps: 

Store Admin > Online Store > Themes > Actions > Edit Languages

From there you'll see a tab in the top right of your theme to change the language as seen below:

As far as this having any legal consequence, my guess would be that it wouldn't, but I can't say for sure as I'm not familiar with the German laws. I'd recommend speaking to a local legal professional to find this out for sure!
