Hello,

 

So, I just downloaded the Shopify Translate & Adapt app and it's fantastic. Big fan, so far (especially as it's free!). I did have a question regarding the language banner's location by default. How can one change this? By default, it's popped up in the homepage carousel that is just below the header and I would like to embed it into the header to the left of the Logo.

Hi there, Rich from the product team here. Would you be able to share a screenshot? Feel free to message me directly if you prefer. I'm wondering if this (the language banner) is the Geolocation pop up. In general positioning things requires custom coding, but once I know which element you're referring to I can help further.

Hello Rich, I couldn't find your answer, so I am reaching out.

I installed the app (and love it) However, I don't see the language selector at the top of the site (only at the bottom). How can I put it at the top, in the header?

Hi there, thanks for the kind words! To put the language selector at the top of a theme is custom coding (which sits outside the Translate & Adapt app) I'm afraid. This sits a little out of my area of knowledge, but you'll find some info here: https://community.shopify.com/c/shopify-design/move-language-selector-to-header-in-dawn-theme/td-p/1... or hire a Shopify Expert.
