Hi there - I've tried getting shopify support help with this but with no success.

We are using translate & adapt to translate our store. Everything is working fine, apart from the customer notification e-mails which, for some reason, are not being translated (although we do have a translation for them within translate&Adapt). It looks like a trigger to change the default language isn't being fired for whatever reason. Can anyone help?

Hi @Pedro_blanky , when you say they're not being translated - but they are translated in the app - where are they not translated? In your email inbox via test orders? If so, when you first make an order (including a test order) a language gets attributed to that customer. They'll get subsequent emails in that language. Can you try doing a test order in a different language with a new customer?

Hi @Pedro_blanky , when you say they're not being translated - but they are translated in the app - where are they not translated? In your email inbox via test orders? If so, when you first make an order (including a test order) a language gets attributed to that customer. They'll get subsequent emails in that language. Can you try doing a test order in a different language with a new customer?

Hi @richbrown_staff,

 

I’m experiencing the same issue. However, when I place a test order using a VPN in France as a new customer (with a new email address), I don’t receive the France notification email. What could be causing this? Do I miss something to activate the other languages / notifications? English is our default and France (and Dutch) is our second language.

Would be great if you could help!
