Global expansion, localizing content, and selling in multiple currencies and languages
We are selling in two countries (US and Germany) using two completely separate online stores from different providers and are now thinking about switching both of them to Shopify. We still want to keep them separate with their own Shopify accounts, domains, payment processors, inventory, selection of products etc. but want to keep the look&feel consistent and manage products only once so we are looking to synchronize or centralize things like
Is there any way with Shopify to achieve this?
Hi @chrizzz
For theme and design you can create a git repository or Shopify partner account where you can work or theme and once done.
Replace or update the theme with latest theme work.
For images or descriptions you have to work through Excel sheets only.
For every product image or content update Shopify create different ID's for different stores.
Hope this will help...
Hello,
Thank you for your reply. For theme and design, do you mean using this?:

I don't understand this process. Is there an import function in Shopify? How would updates and changes be handled? Do you have an example (link)?
Thanks.
Hi @chrizzz
Don't know about your tech skills but GitHub is a paid tool or free version of GitHub will make your theme public for all.
If you are ok, then you should go for it.
But if you have knowledge of GitHub then yes it's the best tool to accomplish your task.
However sorry i dont have detailed knowledge on this.
