Global expansion, localizing content, and selling in multiple currencies and languages
Hello, recently I have a problem with the translation of elements of the theme. Something that I change the translation of, this part does not change, but the old translation remains. Has anyone faced a similar problem, I wrote to support, but unfortunately I get basic responses to clear my cache, etc. (my cache is cleared, I even installed a new kind of browser just in case) I will give an example with pictures. I no longer have this translated text anywhere "Нужда от помощ? %{свържете се с нас}", but shopify still stores it somewhere and show it in the "thank you" final page. And I can't figure out where it keeps this translated text (is there some internal cache of the store that I can clear)

Hi @zippobulgaria! I’m Alex, a designer on the Translate & Adapt team. The problem you’re having stems from a technical issue on our end — nothing you did!
While this is being worked on, you can fix your translation issue by consolidating the content in your bg.json
and bg-BG.json
files and then only keep the one named bg.json
. Does that help? Let me know!

@zippobulgaria Delete app and remove all the things which are regarding to that app and again install app into your store and translate all the things. It might be work for you.
Thanks, but I find this unacceptable. We have spent too much time, in fact several months, to translate thousands of texts. I certainly won't start over because of these few words. It rather annoys me that no one at Shopify can tell me where this translated text is stored to keep pulling it. It is certainly stored with them
but now translator app provide option on that click whole site text translated into our desire language .
This is true, but in fact it is too laborious, all the texts have to be amended otherwise they do not make sense. I'm rather looking for another solution, it's not normal to delete the app and translations and start over, after those words are stored the old words are stored somewhere.
Hi @Ujjaval , this wouldn't help I'm afraid as Translate & Adapt doesn't work this way - it is a window to what's on the API but there is no caching that would get flushed by deleting the app and reinstalling.

Hi Alex, Thank you for your reply. Could you please help to find these json files. Thank you!
Hi again Alex. I found these two json files. and in one I found exactly those texts that I could not change. In that sense, it doesn't really even make sense for me to combine them together. I just corrected in the second file these words and now everything is OK. Many thanks for your help, this is exactly what I was looking for where these translations are stored. Everything is clear to me now. thanks again
