Global expansion, localizing content, and selling in multiple currencies and languages
What is anyone doing about the Windsor Framework? The new regulations come into affect on the 1st May 2025. Looking at Royal Mail's website there are three different scenarios that apply to us. (Easier to understand than the HMRC website)
B2C, B2B (under £135), B2B (over £135). Each Scenario has a different set of rules.
We have an IOSS number (through EAS systems) but I wonder if being registered with IOSS is over complicating things....
To complicate things we use a third party dispatch system - Baselinker - that decides how things are sent based on weight and value so I need to brief the IT guys to write the script.
Very confused? What is anyone esle doing? (Tempted to close NI and EU sales....)
Hi ShirleyScott!
Windsor Framework is in fact a simplification to the mess. IOSS plays no role for sales from UK mainland to Northern Ireland, it considered correctly as a domestic transaction.
Thank you Teemu. I opened this chat before our conversation. Thanks for your help so far.
