Using Managed Markets to sell and fulfill internationally
Our requirement is that we are a UK-based store that needs to exclude certain products from sale in the US and Canada.
We have excluded those products from the US and Canadian markets, which works well. Switching to those locations, we can see that those products are not visible in our store.
The concern is that now those products are unavailable in North America, are we now going to have issues with being indexed by Google?
I have asked support and got an answer that we would need Google to crawl from UK/regional IP address for those products to remain indexed.
Does anyone have knowledge or experience in this matter? I am unsure of leaving it to Google crawling from local IP addresses.
Thanks,
Simon
