Assistance Needed with Shopify Renaming Product URLs redirects and Lengthy Breadcrumbs navigation

I’m looking for guidance on a couple of issues related to our Shopify store:

Renaming Product URLs.
We would like to update our product names to include the brand name (e.g., “Brand Name - Product Name”). However, changing the product handle automatically creates a redirect from the old URL to the new one, which we want to avoid for SEO and usability reasons. Is there a way to change the product URLs without triggering these automatic redirects?

Breadcrumb Customisation
As our product range has grown, our breadcrumbs (products, collections, pages, blogs) have become lengthy and repetitive, often displaying the brand name multiple times. We want to keep the "Brand Name - Product Name" format for our product pages or collections for a cleaner user experience. Is it possible to customise the breadcrumb structure in Shopify to achieve this?

For Breadcrumbs - I understand that using product or collection metafields might be a solution, but does this require custom coding?

We have around 101 products that need renaming, and we're open to using the bulk editor to make these changes. We just want to ensure we handle the redirects appropriately to avoid any negative impact on our SEO.

Hi @Sian68,

For renaming the products, are you trying to update just the titles or the titles and the handles? If you do want to update the handles I don't see the harm in having the redirects created. They would only kick in if someone were to go to the old URL and this way they would see the product they were looking for instead of the 404 page.
