Create Products as combination of categories/metafields?

Dear Community,

I am new to Shopify concepts and I wonder what would be the right approach to take for my requirements:

All my products would be events on a specific date. An event is a combination of an Event type and a Location.

Both, Event Type and Location should have a page where I describe them once.

The Product (Event) Description should be automatically generated based on those contents and/or allow link to full description.

Is this feasible with built-in capabilities?

Something supprted by product categories or rather go with generic metafields from scratch?

Or would I need some Extension?
