How to assign a meta-object list to multiple blocks in a section

I am having an issue trying to assign a meta-object list to multiple blocks in a section.

It allows me to assign a meta-object list to one block and it works great! However, I need to use the same meta-object list fields in another block in the same section. When I try and do so, I get the following error message.

Please can someone tell me how I can get around this restriction and use the same meta-object list for all of the blocks that are included in the section?

Hi JordanKellett,

It looks like this may be an intentional limitation we've added - I'll connect with our team internally to confirm, but what exactly is the use case you're trying to achieve here?

Hi Liam,

Thanks for getting back to me.

It would be great if this limitation could be removed as it serves no purpose. Thank you, that's great, I appreciate it.

I am using a slider section and need to be able to pull in meta-object fields to each block. This would allow me to keep the fields grouped together for this section on the product page.
