I am desperate and getting no where with Shopify support and am hoping someone can help me. I outreached them to get a paid advisor to evaluate and help me with questions about my site but it turns out they no longer offer this service. My only avenue is working with a Shopify Partner. Problem is that I did that already- I was working with somone since December to hopefully have my site to a place where it has some more traffic and sales by the time the busy Fall / Holiday season hits. Unfortunately they were not able to drive any increase in sales at all and all that money was wasted.
The problem is I do not even know what I don't know. I worked with a reputable developer company to create the site. I now wish I had just used a theme because maybe I wouldn't have found myself in this place. But essentially they created a website without any of the "background" things necessary to ever show up for anyone.
What I am looking for now is someone I can work with-- ideally speak to on a phone-- and evaluate/ diagnose my website and guide me on what to do to drive up visibility and sales.
Does anyone have personal experience with a partner who can help me with this? I tried reading reviews and picking and it didn't work out for me. I keep getting solicited by people who say we have a great site and should have more sales and want to help but I don't think I should go for one of these.
If anyone can help guide me to a good company or person, please help.
