Conversations about creating, managing, and using metafields to store and retrieve custom data for apps and themes.
Hi,
I'm moving a development store theme over to a client's site and on getting access to their store I can't see the product metafield option listed in the metafield definitions (see image below). I can't work out if this is a permissions issue as I do have access to the products themselves. Any pointers would be much appreciated!

Hi @joshuaking,
Thanks for being part of the Shopify Community! I know it might sound dumb, but could you try removing yourself, deleting cookies and cache and then sending the Collaborator Request again?
Alternatively, the issue might be related to the theme you're using. Even if it's very unlikely, it might happen that the theme doesn't accept Product metafields. I don't believe it's the case though since other metafields are accepted and this issue is related more to the Custom Data section of the Shopify Dashboard.
