URGENT - Error message: 'You need to add option values for Size' for PIM integration
Hi team,
I am from the PIM platform team for which we have integrated to Shopify for our clients using the GraphQL approach.
We have been working on integrating the some Shopify shops with our client's internal Product Inventory Management (PIM) System. It works as expected for the most part and has the most up-to-date API version applied on both PIM side and Shopify side. However, for some products we are repeatedly getting the error message in our PIM JSON export file: 'You need to add option values for Size' when trying to push content from PIM to Shopify - we are not sending Color or Size values from the PIM system so it is unclear what we can do to resolve this error message.
The API is up-to-date on the PIM side as per the latest documentation here: https://shopify.dev/docs/api/release-notes.
Please see attached screenshots below for both Shopify shops for the products where we get this error and how the "id" field always appears as null.
I have already aligned with Shopify support on this referenced by the ticket number 45971415.
Can you please help identify where this error is coming from and how we can urgently resolve this as it is currently blocking critical projects for our client?
