App's auto-installation to Online store 2.0 themes

Hello,

We would like to clarify & confirm, is it allowed for app developers to have the option to automatically install themselves into Online Store 2.0 themes, if merchant requests the auto-integration? Or if it's OS 2.0 it's only allowed for merchants to manually install the apps?
