Questions, feedback, and updates on the new online store design experience
Our site isn't public yet, so I cannot share a link, however this appears to affect anyone on Dawn 2.0 anyway:
We've created a collection called "All" (/all) and set it to automatically show all products > £0.
Using the new Customizer we've added this collection to our home page, and increased the number of products from 12 to 36, and a 'View More'.
The UX problem we have, is that the new native filtering bar, doesn't show up on the home page - it'll only show up once a user clicks 'View More' and is then taken to https://xxx-xxx-xxx.myshopify.com/collections/all.
A lot of big stores, which have home pages featuring all their products (paginated of course) , also have a filter there - they don't require you to click to a secondary page to get the filter.
Any solutions for this? In a perfect world we could set, without changing the URL, our home page to be that Collection page and then add banners etc. to the Collection page design?
