Hi all,
I'm in the process of updating my old Dawn theme to the Shopify 2.0 version. I'm trying to create custom filtering options, and have created and assigned proper meta fields. However, I don't have the option to add new filters under Online Store > Navigation > Collection and search filters.
Will this not be available until I publish the 2.0 version? I'd like to test everything out before making it live and make sure the filters are working properly.
Does anyone know why I'm not able to add filters?

Hello @yellow-green
Make sure your store contains any of the Shopify 2.0 theme. If you don't have then add any 2.0 version theme.
Also if you have more than 10000 products then filters will not work.
I have a separate store that has a shopify 2.0 theme, but I still don't have the ability to customize my filters. it is currently displaying all of the variant options

Hello @Savior
Thank you for the details about `>10 000` rule!
Can't find any details about it in documentation though.
May you please navigate me where can I find more info about that?
And by any chance, - do you know any way we can manage make this app work for 10k+ items? (Shopify plus or other options)
Thank you in advance
@Savior I just randomly saw this post. So even I didn't know that filters don't work for more than 10K products. But is that rule applicable to the entire store, or a single page where the filter is used?
Let's consider a scenario where we have a store with 25K products. And we created a collection page with filters from metafields. Now this page will list only 4-5K products. So will the filter work in this case? Since it will be filtered from a collection of 4-5K products.
Or do filters completely stop working if a store has more than 10K products in general?
Kindly let me know. Since I don't know either.
The product limit for a particular collections is 5000. If there are more than 5000 products in a collection then Store front filter 2.0 will won't work on it and Search results that exceed 1,000 products will not display filters.
