Can I use an Alternate Template for my index page?

Hello friends,

I want to know if can I use an Alternate Template for the index page.

I'm looking for the functionality to make it possible to switch between multiple Alternate Templates for the Homepage. Is this possible to achieve this in Shopify?

I tried it, but unfortunately, I was unable to find my alternate template for the index page in the Theme Editor Customizer's dropdown menu.

Even I can't find the solution to set the homepage to any other page, like we can set the homepage from the pages list in the dashboard, I have seen this functionality in most of the no-code website builders like; Framer, and Webflow.

Please provide the solution for this.

It cannot be, but you can use a page builder app to create your homepage and alternate it for the default homepage template of your theme.
