Hi,

 

I provide local delivery in my online store based on the distance. At checkout, two shipping methods are automatically displayed. One is local delivery and the other is the 3rd party shipping partner used by Shopify. However, the estimated shipping charges and delivery timeframe calculated is always incorrect. This issue never happens when local delivery is not listed as a shipping method.

 

I am not sure whether this is an issue in the theme or at my end. FYI, I use DAWN theme for my online store. 

Hope someone could assist me with this issue.

Hi Liam,

 

Were you able to fix this issue? Anyhow, It is working perfectly fine now. Showing all the correct Sendle shipping rates and estimated time frames for delivery.

Hi MaddieRane,

 

I don't think this is caused by the theme as it should not affect functionality on the checkout. Have you confirmed that all shipping setting are correct on the admin? Are you using an app for calculating the non local shipping?

Hi Liam,

 

Yes. I checked the shipping settings and even added backup rates. I have two shipping profiles and one uses the shipping partner suggested by Shopify (Sendle). So I did not have to use third party apps. For the other shipping profile, I used a fixed shipping rate (This profile does not produce the aforementioned error). 

To summarize, the issue occur only in one shipping profile (the one which uses Sendle) and only when local delivery is also shown as a shipping method.
