Checkout Super Slow (Dawn 2.0)

Hi all,

I recently noticed a huge drop in my conversion rate (heaps of add to cart and very few checkout initiated): when clicking on the checkout button from the shopping cart page, it takes at least 2-3 seconds for the page to start loading and then another 2-3 seconds for everything to load.

This has cost me a lot of conversions and I've noticed that many are facing this exact same problem (https://community.shopify.com/c/shopify-discussions/checkout-speed-slow/td-p/1111380).

I reached out to Shopify support but no help was provided, just the same old recommendations and that there isn't much they can do.

Any propositions/solutions are much appreciated.
