Dawn Theme Click image and display modal like "Choose Options" Modal ( quick-add )

I want to make the product image to have modal when clicked, I tried copying the "Choose Option" Modal but what I only got is the spinning loading only.

Hello there  

if you have shopify dawn theme 7, there is a quick add option setting to enable on the featured products and on collections,  collections grid.  
Shopify is running through some  admin and store front bugs currently,  so things might not be properly  working  to the fullest yet.

Hello @EcomGraduates what I meant is that, how can I make the choose option modal on click available if the product does not have a variant. Or how to create a modal on product image on click in dawn theme.
