Do nothing menu with multi-language

My top-level menus with submenus point to link # (nothing happens when the user clicks). That used to work as the url is mystore.myshopify.com/#

With multi-language, the url now could have the language code: mystore.myshopify.com/en#

and that is problematic. Sometimes, it loads the home page, but most of the times, it just produces an empty blank page. 

Any solution ?
