Drop-down background black Debut Theme

Hello,

I’m having an issue and need help. 

I’m using Debut Theme. I need my dropdown background to be black with white text. I got it to work with my other drop downs. But when I have more than one subcategories within a dropdown it reverts back to a white background….. (I highlighted over the white text so you can see the white text is there)

any help is appreciated
