Email received to trademark my business

I received an email from shopifytechnicaladvisoryteam@gmail.com asking for me to provide proof of trademark etc and to make payment of $300 or they are shutting down my website and it will no longer be visible. Is this legit because all of a sudden my website was not working.

It's a scam.

1. They're pretending to be Shopify by using its name in the email.
2. Shopify sends email with @Shopify.com at the end of the address, instead of @gmail.com.
3. There could be other possible reasons why your website isn't working right now, which doesn't involve the scammers.
