Filters with OLD THEME Tag - New Version 2.0 Need to use Metafields

My old theme used Tags to get the FILTERS when you are under the collections

Now my new theme and new shopify 2.0 dropped it..

So now we have to go thought 2000 products change all the Tags to the new Metafields.

is there a simple way to do this without going to one product at a time

Unfortunately  there is not a  easy solution unless you export  and import  your products again   on a CSV
