How to remove text from the header of the check out page for debut theme

This might have been asked before but I can't find an answer anywhere. I'm trying to remove text at the header of the check out page and replace it with a banner. When I upload the banner, the text is still visible and I just want it removed but I just can't figure out how to do that. I am using the debut theme. Any tips/advice would be greatly appreciated!

The checkout.liquid layout is available to Shopify Plus merchants only. If your store isn't on Shopify Plus, you can only customize your checkout pages in the theme editor.
