A space to discuss online store customization, theme development, and Liquid templating.
I have launched a very basic Dawn theme for my online apparel brand and quickly realized I need something better. I have been working on different free trials of paid themes to find what I want, but I am still having one big issue.
I can’t seem to create separate men’s and women’s collections, or make them accessible with an image from my homepage.
I have created the separate collections in Collections (duh), and I have them as nested menus in Navigation. Currently, I have four collections of men’s apparel and four collections of women’s apparel. This works great on the main menu—they are separated into men’s and women’s, and the collections are listed appropriately.
The problem arises when I try to have an image (or just a button) for “Browse Men’s” or “Browse Women’s.” It simply takes me to the Collections page, where every collection is listed. Is it not possible to have a landing page specifically for men’s collections and another for women’s collections? Is there a way to do this that I may have missed? Please help!

Hi @LaidBackLinks , thank you for posting here!
You can follow my instruction below:
3. After that, based on your requirement, you need to link each collection collection for each new template you have created. To do that, you come back to the Admin store and follow my instructions below:
4. Lastly, you need to link the button “Browse Men’s” or “Browse Women’s to the new collection template you have created. You need to create a new page for each collection.
This is your new collection page, so you can add all the collections you want on this page by adding the collection you want.

Thank you! Yes this worked. It took me a while to figure out I had to create these templates on my published theme before I could do anything to the themes I was editing. Thank you so much for your help!
So I just realized while this does solve my biggest issue there is still a lingering problem. The pages work, and I created separate templates for men's and women's, but they are both showing the same information. When I add the men's collections of the Men page, it adds it to the womens page as well even though they are separate templates. Anything I do on the women's page also reflects on the mens page. Any idea on how to correct this issue?
You can add 2 buttons with Image banner section of Dawn theme
