I’ve found that there is no traffic to my store after moving to the Dawn theme and the Dawn theme is supposed to be faster and more functional, it’s more easier for building a website but there is no traffic to my store since then.

Would anyone give me some advises?

My store: LittleGlamJewelry.com

Thank you!

You have to do the following things for your store.

  • Firstly check your website speed score performance.
  • Find the Pages, Where You Lose the Most Customers. Convert More of the Shoppers Who Put Products in Their Carts.
  • Showcase How Popular Product Pages Are. Promote Offers With Push Notifications. Optimize Your Product Pages.
  • Look at the difference between your New Visitors and your Returning Visitors. For most Shopify stores, your returning visitors will have a much higher conversion rate than your new visitors.
  • Also, you need to work on your website performance’s speed.
  • If It is low for mobile, then it may kill your traffic and affect your conversion.

Hope these points will help you!

Thank you for your advices.

May I know how to improve the speed of my website? I installed an app but it doesn’t really help. I’ve reduced the sizes of photos to 1000 pixels, I have uploaded the videos and reduced the size before that or it is not recommended to upload videos? I will try to remove some more apps but what if those apps are necessary? Hope to receive your feedback.

Thank you.

There is no correlation between the traffic your website gets and the theme you use.

It's a different scenario if you said you got traffic but no sales or a high bounce rate, but without traffic in the first place, the theme has nothing to do with it.

Check how have you've implemented your SEO and marketing strategy in general
