Removing Unwanted Text

I have Dawn theme version 12.0. At the top of my landing page of my online store, there is text that say ".payment-terms-container {copy display: none important;}" I think it is there because I removed the option to make installment payments. How to do I get rid of that text?

Thanks Stephen. I have no idea what i need to redo. However, I received a message through my online store and it shows all kinds of characters in the body of the email. How do I fix that? Is this something that I need to hire a Shopify Advisor for? Everything seems to be working fine and I can see the person's message at the bottom of all the other stuff.

That would definitely be an error within the theme's coding.

You most likely made some custom coding edits to your theme, that were done incorrectly. You would need to revert those coding changes, and then have the sections/content you wanted to remove re-done correctly.

You probably don't need to do anything, if it's just within the body of the email that was sent to you. If you share a screenshot, then I can confirm.

With regards to the coding error that's showing on the homepage of your site, you would probably want to hire a Shopify Partner to help with that, if you don't know what you need to revert/undo. Alternatively, you can always try adding a fresh copy of your theme to your store, and then setting it up again, but this time, without any custom coding edits -- and then if you need custom coding edits, you can hire a coder to help do them correctly.
