Show image in Dawn Mega Menu

Hey,

I'd like to showcase an image on my Mega Menu (Dawn Theme) with simple code (if possible)

This is what I have so far. On the far right, I would like to showcase either a custom image or the image from the Page/Collection/Post/...

 

 I cannot remember how to set this up, I know I did it once many years ago, by adding some code into the actual menu item field.

I have found some tutorials, but most of them want you to download an app or change up the whole code from the header.

there is a valid solution we have found for this,  however if you are on dawn 7,  they have changed a bit of code around to accomplish this.
