Timeline for New Online Store Design Experience

I've tried to find in the articles on the new online store design experience when this new architecture will be available for merchant stores but can't seem to find a clear sense of when this will be. I understand it is still in beta and there might not be a clearly defined date, but as a rough guide is the aim for it to be released in 2020 or next year?

Thanks for your interest in the new theme architecture- I can confirm that the new online store design experience will be available to all merchants in 2020. In the meantime, you can try out the partner beta on a development store, and you can find out all the info to do that in this forum post. 

We'll also be updating the developer changelog as more features are released.

Hi there Snoopster! 

We don't have a release date we can share with the developer community yet, however we do have an update that we announced at our Partner Town Hall last week, which you can view here. Stay tuned for more info soon.

Do we have a launch date yet for when this will be rolled out to all merchants? Desperate to know as am about to invest a lot of money in a theme update and will hold off if this new feature is available soon

Currently building a new universal theme framework for our brands and we're running into a huge hole without having Sections Everywhere to manage content.

Can we get a staff update on this?

We currently don't have an updated timeline for the roll out of sections everywhere, but I'll be updating here once there is news on this front.

Expecting something this month on the 29th during Unite (https://unite.shopify.com/). Jean-Michel said it would ship "Before he left" which is the end of this month, so I'm really hoping they will not only announce, but also ship the product the same day.

Hey Liam,

It's almost the end of 2020.

I understand priority was put on meeting the growth, now with Covid19. Releasing features and making the UI easier for the new users coming in and supporting Shopify's growth. With that it seems like Shopify has forgotten about there existing customers and their current challenges.

I keep on spending hundreds of dollars each month for developers on Fiverr just to make small changes to the look and setup of my store. I really think the new design experience will give us the freedom to make the changes faster and much cheaper.

Please push this update ASAP.
