Tracking Purchase Orders on Checkout

Hi Everyone,

We really need a way to record the customer purchase order number on the checkout page. It really needs to be on the checkout page and not on the cart page.

Without the purchase order number, 50% of orders cannot be lodged. There must be a solution to this as many customers would require this process to operate.

Is there a custom app that enables this functionality?

We really need a solution to this.

Do you mean you want an extra text field in the checkout page for customer to fill in the "Purchase Order" number? If yes, this is achievable using custom app that has the text field checkout ui extension, but this require your store to be on Shopify Plus plan, is your store on Shopify Plus plan?
