where to insert code, to display text on each product card, on the collection page

on my collection pages, example:

....I would like to know where to insert this single_line_text metafield

{{product.metafields.custom.short_description}}

...so it displays on each product card on the collection page, below 'product title' and 'price', as in screenshot.

I am using Ride Theme
