How does the shipping work? let's say I have an item from Ali Express and it has free shipping for US and a customer purchased this but on the actual Ali Express item page you can choose expedited shipping. Does it also show up as an option for them? what would the supplier choose?

If the item I imported doesn't have free shipping and on my Shopify page I have set shipping free. what would happen? does the customer pay only for the product? will it also show up automatically as a shipping fee on their end? or would it proceed as usual and the amount they paid for the item isn't going to be processed because it lacks the amount to cover the shipping fee? what's real

The customer pays only the shipping fee you set up on your Shopify store, regardless of the actual shipping fee on AliExpress. Your Shopify store checkout is not directly integrated with AliExpress.

You can use our app, JsRates, to fetch real-time shipping rates from AliExpress so that your customers can see the actual shipping fee on the checkout or product page. You need to decide on your shipping strategy at checkout.

Refer to this Shopify guide for assistance.

You have the option to configure flat-rate shipping or free shipping, or you can configure carrier-calculated rates.

Additionally, consider looking for an app that integrates with AliExpress to offer rates at checkout.
