accepting payments in latin america

hey guys so i have been running ads for my store in latin america and i translated everything in spanish and i almost got my first sale today! I have an abandoned cart from a guy who tried to buy somthing but his card was declined. i have shopify payments enabled on my site, so you can pay with a card, or paypal or however, but he entered his card info and it didnt work. Do i need a special way to process payments in latin america??? sorry i am relatively new to this stuff, i keep running into hurdles, but i am commited to succeed with all this!!

Thank you for the context which helps me discover what the issue might be. But I can confirm that you would not need any additional way to capture payments from Latin America. 

Within your admin, in the abandoned checkout section, you may see an additional reason as to why this payment has failed. It can be an issue with the payment gateway, or it could be something to do with the user's situation directly. 

Are you able to tell me if you see any error message within that specific order? Or are you seeing any other errors in your store?

I will also share with you this guide about recovering abandoned checkouts, which will assist with recovering potential lost sales in the future.

so this is what it is telling me, im bummed i really want to recover this sale!! But most importantly i need to make sure future sales will be able to be processed.

hey guys so i need help ASAP ive gotten 2 sales today! im so stoked but im having trouble fulfilling the order! it says blocked on oberlo WTF!!! is there anything i can do?! they both have already paid so can i just literally go and manually buy on ali express and buy it for them and ship it to the adress provided??

I have a great guide here that talks you through the steps needed to place an order using Oberlo.

Essentially, once a customer places an order, you would need to manually place the order within Oberlo using those steps above. Then your supplier will ship the product for you!

In regard to your first issue, that screenshot looks like a user error (insufficient funds, an issue with the card, etc), so your customer may return, or using the above-abandoned checkout features, the sale may be recovered. 

You may be able to click on the card details (sensitive data hidden) which may give you an individual error message on the card/order.
