Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Hi I'm trying to change the account which payments are made to on our website. Unfortunately due to the time we have spent away from the website that bank account was closed and cannot find the details (account number and sort code) to change.
can we add a new bank account to our website without these details.
Thanks
Nick

Hi again, @nick125!
Thanks for following up!
I'm glad to hear that you were able to locate the banking details and update your settings. I have accepted the previous response as a solution as it outlines the next steps if the bank details were missing.
All the best!

My stores has been closed since august 2022, I received an email from shopify that they werent able to deposit the payout because the bank details on file was already closed which is true. I been trying to contact support to change the bank details of all my stores but no one seems to help me. I got email from Page ( From Senior Support Specialist | Billing & Payments ) 2 days ago that she was able to change the bank details from one of my stores. But I need to change the bank details of ALL THE STORES THAT I HAD WITH SHOPIFY because it has payout on each of them that cant be deposited on my current bank details on file since its already closed. Its been 2 weeks since I started to escalate my issue with shopify support team and until now only 1 store has been updated the bank details. this is very very very frustrating. I didnt sign up with you to be treated like this. I need my payouts
Hi, @Binh25!
Thank you for joining this thread.
I can definitely empathize with your situation, and will do my best to assist you. If you're using Shopify Payments, you can update your new bank details directly from your Shopify Admin. Here are the steps:
Please keep in mind that you will need to input your previous banking details before being able to add your new account. To do this, please refer to a previous bank statement to obtain your number.
If you are unable to input your previous banking information, you will have to create separate request from each of your accounts. Be sure to log in as the account owner for each and get in touch with our support team via the Help Center. From there, our team will be able to create an escalation and have your banking information updated. This may need some time to be looked into, but I can assure you that if an escalation was created, our team will get back to you.
Feel free to reply back to this thread with any questions or updates and we can continue our conversation further!

My store has been closed since august 2022 so how can I access the admin and change the bank details on it? Shopify closed my stores and put my payout on hold for 120 days
And now its already available for payout but I cant change my bank
I had been sending email from your support team but no one responding
Its been 2 weeks since I started escalating my issues with shopify support and still not resolved
How can it be resolved if no one is responding from your team? This is very very very unprofessional
Hi again, @Binh25!
Thanks for sharing that information.
I can definitely empathize with your situation. As mentioned, I cannot authenticate you for the store over the Community forums due to the sensitive information that needs to be shared, therefore I am unable to look into the specifics of your case. However, I noticed that you shared your ticket number in another thread. Your ticket is in the right place and will be handled accordingly as soon as possible. I ask for your patience as the team works through this.
Thank you.
