Adding Custom Fee to Certain Products

I am trying to add a set fee to certain products that also have different variants. This would be a fee for the customization of their selected product. Is this possible??

This can be accomplished through a product upcharge fees app. We have a variety of options you can install from the Shopify app store. There is one called Upcharge: Surcharge & Fees that I think will suit your needs. You can charge fees for any kind of product including custom requests, and order personalizations.

This app adds it as a separate item in the cart. Is there a way for this fee to show up as a line item where the native shipping price pops up within the themes?
