Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Hey,
I'm hoping I can get some guidance on a feature I'd like to add to my site.
For context, the products on this website are for pre-order.
When customers make a purchase and receive an order confirmation email, we'd like to add the delivery date on there.
I'm using a third-party app for fulfilment (Deliverr).
I read this guide which seemed to say that I couldn't add delivery dates if I'm using a third-party app.
Setting up delivery dates - Shopify Guide
"Delivery dates don't work with shipping rates provided by third-party apps."
My question is:
Can I add delivery dates to the order confirmation page? (I know I can, but can I do this if I use a third-party app?)
If so, how would I do this with Deliverr?
I've spoken to Shopify Support, who suggested I speak to Deliverr. I haven't spoken to Deliverr yet, I figured I'd ask here first.
If you need any more clarification or have questions, let me know.

Hey, @Digital_J.
Thank you for reaching out and posting this question!
It looks like Deliverr has a guide on adding the delivery date onto the product pages, How Do I Reconfigure My Shopify Store to Support Shop Promise?, which appears to be an early access feature that's only available to select merchants. You can try following their guide to see if you have access to this feature. However, if you don't have access to this feature, then you'll want to get in touch with them directly and you can do that right over here: Deliverr - Submit a request.
That being said, since Deliverr is a third-party app, then it's likely that you won't be able to add the delivery date to the order confirmation emails as there aren't any liquid variables or coding that can support them on the notification templates (eg. RichText editor). While you may be able to add an additional script onto the order confirmation page, you'll also need to check with Deliverr to see if this is something that they support.
I noticed that you're a new member of our Shopify Community! I'd love to hear more about your business and share some resources to help you get started. What kinds of products are you selling? Do you have a marketing plan prepared for your store?
