Adding email to check out form

How can i add email address as a mandatory field for check out form?

Thank you for reaching out here.

Do you want to set an email address as a mandatory contact method for customers at checkout (normally customers can leave both email or phone numbers), don't you?

If so, you could follow these steps below:

• From Shopify Admin > Settings > Checkout
• Scroll down to the Customer contact method  section and select Email
• Click Save

Thx! By the way, do you happen to know y my checkout page when I enter my shipping info click next and then see the "Shipping information is required" error. When I click the "Enter your information" link, I end up in a loop?

Hi @user9999 

It seems like a technical problem so you could reach out to Shopify Support and have them check it for you. 

You could refer to this link, log in to your store account then type in a topic in the search bar and select Search. On the following page, scroll down to Get Support and click Continue and you'll be presented with options to contact their Support via chat, email, or schedule a call-back.
