AfterPay not respecting local currency in Shopify store

Hello,

I have a question about the behavior of Afterpay for our Shopify store when dealing with local currencies.

For context

1. Our Shopify store: https://sheilathelabel.com/

2. Our Shopify "base currency" is USD, but we sell to Australia. We have Shopify Markets configured with fixed local currency prices for our products.

Attached are screenshots of someone who has tried to make a purchase via Afterpay.

You can see

1. They have AUD$340 of products in their cart

2. When they go to checkout, Afterpay doesn't charge AUD$340, it charges USD$223.35 and then applies currency conversion

Is there no way to have Afterpay charge customers based on the local currency pricing? Having this conversion scares customers and, what is worse, they end up paying more (in this case)
