Aliexpress Shipping Times For US-based Products

I noticed that when filtering Aliexpress for goods distributed FROM the United States TO the United States, some of the shipping times are still very high (eg. 1 month or more).  Does this mean that they are actually still coming from China?  Is there a way to tell?
