All my customers cannot place orders because Shopify is saying their address is invalid. They keep getting this message:
“This order can’t be shipped to the address you entered. Review your address to ensure that all fields have been entered correctly and try again.”
I have validated them using USPS and they are valid addresses. There is NO problem with the address. None. They have tried Credit card, PayPal and Apple Pay. None of them work. They cannot buy my products. Even people who have ordered from me before aren’t able to ship to they’re address. I haven’t changed anything it just randomly stopped allowing people to order.
This sucks and I am not making any money. I am getting lots of abandoned carts though.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks for reaching out and bringing this to our attention.
If all of your customers are experiencing the same issue, then it's possible that you haven't set up shipping zones and/or shipping rates for those shipping zones. If you already have shipping zones and shipping rates added, then it looks like we'll need to access your account in order to resolve this issue. While we're unable to provide account-specific support via the Shopify Community, we'd be happy to further assist you through live chats. Please visit the Shopify Help Center and login to your account to create a support request.
I noticed that you're a new member of our Shopify Community! Once you've resolved this issue with the shipping rates, I'd love to hear more about your business and share some resources to help you get started. What kinds of products are you selling? Do you have a marketing plan prepared for your store?
I'm having the same problem. Says order can't be shipped to the Address you Entered. But I think it's only happening to my customers who are checking out through PayPal. Shopify support shows PayPal is set up correctly and PayPal Customer Support said PayPal is set up correctly on their end. Most of my customers pay with PayPal daily and I haven't had anyone use the PayPal since May 17th. HELP!
Thank you for joining the thread.
I understand that you're experiencing the same problem, where orders are displaying an error that regarding the customer's address. Just to confirm, were you able to process orders successfully using PayPal previously?
Since the shipping profiles and payment methods are set up correctly, then it looks like we'll need to access your account and take a closer look at some of the failed checkouts in order to resolve this issue. While we're unable to provide account-specific support via the Shopify Community, we'd be happy to further assist you through live chats or emails. That being said, I'd also love to hear more about your business and share some resources to help you get started as well. Can you tell me more about your products? Also, do you have a marketing plan prepared for your store?
